Stock Control Application (SCA) features:

  • Control and monitor all stock activities of companies operating in different fields. SCA works on an integrated basis with the following applications: Sales, Purchases and General Ledger. The Application functions at the level of the whole system or at stock, item group or activity type levels.
  • Divide codes into a maximum of 20 segments, with each segment indicating a specific classification.
  • Specify the nature of each segment in codes as "fixed text" or "defined data", enabling the user to determine the details of each segment before identifying the items and associate the relevant details with a certain item upon being identified.
  • In generating item reports, individual items can be selected using a certain segment – e.g. the activity of balances having a specific classification.
  • Showing activity/balance reports for a given segment, with the possibility of generating reports on the balances of each individual segment or group of segments.
  • Identify and determine all the formats and levels of codes in the system – e.g. branches, warehouses, item groups, items … etc.
  • Classify and categorize items under multi-level groups, providing multi-level analytical reports.
  • Support handling various items – e.g. stock items, services, or assembled items.
  • Apply various methods for calculating goods cost – average or shipments (whether on a first-in-first-out basis, a last-in-first-out basis, or a optional basis.
  • Support all the criteria and determinants of items, including measuring units, minimum order, item basic number, multiple vendors, maximum buyer credit, and profit margin (%).
  • Control all stock activities, including stock receipt, dispatch, transfers and returns as well as item ordering, damaged items processing, stock inventory and stock settlements, with the possibility of assigning various type for each activity.
  • Group or subdivide items/an item to produce certain items/new items, with the possibility of charging additional costs or expenses including labour, packaging … etc. to calculate the actual cost of produced items.
  • For further analysis, the Application employs multi-level branches/cost centres/projects – up to 9 levels.
  • Have a powerful financial and analytical reporting system, with the possibility of setting the required analysis criteria for all stock movements at various levels: warehouses/items/item groups/ branches/projects/cost centres.
  • In addition to all follow-up and monitoring reports on the activities and balances, the Application supports key analytical reports on stock assessment, item turnover, and stagnant stock.
