Production Scheduling and Planning

/.

Production Planning Application (PPA) is the most important module in any industrial company.

PPA features:

  • Tailor future plans for required production over a given period.
  • State production plan cost for a given product over a certain period of time.
  • Design estimative future sales schemes in view of market demand for the relevant products.
  • Identify products in terms of: product data; bill of raw materials; No. of units required to be manufactured; stock balance – to determine the required production volume for plan realization.
  • Define the production lines of a given product in terms of: products made in such lines – shifts – machinery – impact of weekly holidays).
  • List the machines of production lines.
  • Figure out the outcome of operating production lines – i.e. stating the No. of days required for each production phase and the weekly & non-weekly holidays.
  • Display shifts (morning – night) and working hours per shift.
  • Draw up integrated production plans in terms of the following: planned production volume: designing the production plan of a given product over a certain period by specifying the required amount of such product in the light of future budget, purchase order and quotation, scheduling production plans: determining production milestones over a certain period in respect of utilized production lines and specifying the quota of each line in the total required productionscheduling the monthly output of production lines: determining production phases during the month in terms of utilized production lines and specifying the quota of each line in the total required production, scheduling the daily output of production lines: determining production steps during the day with regard to utilized production lines and specifying the quota of each line in the total required production, determining the required raw materials for production lines in view of production orders. The required volume of production is uploaded and the cost of required raw materials is calculated & producing purchase orders based on the necessary production requirements, according to production plans or production documents. Purchase orders are addressed to the respective vendors.
  • Display a number of critical reports: planned production volume, production line priorities, monthly production planning, production documentation planning, production planning requirements & statement of actions taken regarding production requirements.
